The Super Eagles line up to claim 6points against Rwanda and South Africa

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have not made the most of their Group C opponents comprising: South Africa, Rwanda, Benin, Zimbabwe, and Lesotho .
Nigeria sits in 4th place in Group C with 7 points, trailing South Africa (16 points) who beat Lesotho 3-0, Benin (11 points) after Gernot Rohr’s charges got a late 1-0 victory over Zimbabwe yesterday

The Super Eagles have recorded one win and four draws in their first six matchesโ€”many of those draws came at homeโ€”and need a strong finish to remain in contention

The players have emphasized there are โ€œno excusesโ€ and insist that winning the remaining four matches is critical if Nigeria hopes to avoid the unenviable record of missing back to back World Cup events having in mind the generational talents on display over the last 5years in the Nigerian team

For Coach Eric Sekou Chelle achieving this starts with picking the right blend of strength and flair to tackle the Rwandans who would come playing a more defensive approach compared to the Banana Bafana who are known for their expressive 4-3-3 approach to the game

Goalkeeper: Stanley Nwabali

Defenders: Ola Aina, Benjamin Frederick, Calvin Bassey, Bruno Onyemaechi

Midfielders: Wilfred Ndidi, Raphael Onyedika, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru

Attackers: Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon

Substitutes: William Troost-Ekong can come in to seal the games after the results has been secured, I believe he is most useful as a leader on the bench and coming on to inspire the team to shore

Bright Osayi Samuelโ€™s ability to play on the left and right flank makes him one to come of the bench to help on both flanks whenever the need arises

Conclusion

With this 4-3-3 formation and playing personnel I believe the Super Eagles can play their path by claiming the all important 6 points needed in staying close to South Africa pending the final judgement from FIFA which is expected to strip the Bafana Bafana of three goals and three points for fielding an ineligible player.
